The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 and whoso has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
