The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

The terrible calamity! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 And what do you know what the Calamity is? 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 and the mountains shall be like plucked wool-tufts. 5 Then as for him whose balances are heavy, 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 whereas he whose weight is light in the balance 8 will have hawiyah as their dwelling. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
