And certainly the warning came to Firon's people. 41 They rejected all Our communications, so We overtook them after the manner of a Mighty, Powerful One. 42 Are your infidels better than these? Or is there an immunity for you in the Writs? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 The army will be routed and put to flight. 45 Indeed, the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Last Hour will be the most severe, and the most bitter. 46 Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. 47 On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell." 48 Verily everything! We have created it by a measure. 49 And Our Command is but a single (Act),- like the twinkling of an eye. 50 And assuredly We have destroyed your likes; so is there any one who shall be admonished? 51 [They were truly guilty] because all [the evil] that they ever did had been [revealed to them as such] in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom; 52 All things small or great have been written down. 53 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light, 54 In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
