The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 And the mountains shall become as wool carded, 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 He will live a pleasant life. 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 His abode shall be the abyss. 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
