(Muhammad), recall Our servant Job. When he prayed to his Lord saying, "Satan has afflicted me with hardship and torment," 41 [So he was told], "Strike [the ground] with your foot; this is a [spring for] a cool bath and drink." 42 And We bestowed upon him new offspring, doubling their number as an act of grace from Us, and as a reminder unto all who are endowed with insight. 43 "And take in thy hand a little grass, and strike therewith: and break not (thy oath)." Truly We found him full of patience and constancy. How excellent in Our service! ever did he turn (to Us)! 44 And remember Our bondmen Ibrahim, and Ishaq, and Yaqub – the men of power and knowledge. 45 We distinguished them for the distinct remembrance of the abode (of the Hereafter). 46 In Our eyes they were of the chosen, virtuous people. 47 And commemorate Isma'il, Elisha, and Zul-Kifl: Each of them was of the Company of the Good. 48 This is a Message (of admonition): and verily, for the righteous, is a beautiful Place of (Final) Return,- 49 The gardens of perpetuity, the doors are opened for them. 50 wherein they will recline, [and] wherein they may [freely] call for many a fruit and drink, 51 ۞ And with them are those of modest gaze, companions. 52 'This is what you are promised on the Day of Recompense, 53 Lo! this in truth is Our provision, which will never waste away. 54 However, the rebellious ones will have the worst place to return. 55 Hell, wherein they roast: a wretched couch. 56 This (shall be so); so let them taste it, boiling and intensely cold (drink). 57 and other similar to it, joined together. 58 [And they will say to one another: "Do you see] this crowd of people rushing headlong to join you?" "No welcome to them! Indeed, they are headed for the fire!" 59 (The followers of the misleaders will say): "Nay, you (too)! No welcome for you! It is you (misleaders) who brought this upon us (because you misled us in the world), so evil is this place to stay in!" 60 They will say: “Our Lord, give twofold punishment in the Fire to him who has led us to this.” 61 And they will say, "Why do we not see men whom we used to count among the worst? 62 Have we taken them in mockery? Or, have our eyes swerved from them?' 63 Such disputes will certainly take place among the dwellers of hell fire. 64
