The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
