And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 and guarded them from every accursed Satan 17 But he who steals a hearing, so there follows him a visible flame. 18 And the earth have We spread out, and placed therein firm hills, and caused each seemly thing to grow therein. 19 And We have made in it means of subsistence for you and for him for whom you are not the suppliers. 20 Naught is there, but its treasuries are with Us, and We send it not down but in a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. 22 Lo! and it is We, even We, Who quicken and give death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later. 24 And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing. 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
