And when your Lord called to Moses, saying: 'Go to the harmdoing nation, 10 The folk of Pharaoh. Will they not ward off (evil)? 11 : He said: "O Lord, I fear that they will deny me. 12 and my breast will be straitened, and my tongue will not be loosed; so send to Aaron. 13 besides, they accuse me of a crime, and I fear that they may put me to death." 14 Said He: "Not so, indeed! Go forth, then, both of you, with Our messages: verily, We shall be with you, listening [to your call]! 15 So go you to Pharaoh, and say, "Verily, I am the Messenger of the Lord of all Being; 16 Send the Israelites with us". 17 Pharaoh said to Moses, "Did we not bring you up among us as a child? And you spent several years of your life with us. 18 And [then] you did your deed which you did, and you were of the ungrateful." 19 Musa (Moses) said: "I did it then, when I was an ignorant (as regards my Lord and His Message). 20 Then I fled from you when I feared you, and my Lord vouchsafed me a command and appointed me (of the number) of those sent (by Him). 21 And this is the favour with which you taunt me -- that you have enslaved the Children of Israel?" 22 Pharaoh said: 'And what is the Lord of the Worlds' 23 He said: The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, if you would be sure. 24 (Firon) said to those around him: Do you not hear? 25 He said, 'Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 26 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "Verily, your Messenger who has been sent to you is a madman!" 27 He said, “The Lord of the East and the West and all that is between them; if you have sense.” 28 (The Pharaoh) said: "If you took another god apart from me I will have you incarcerated." 29 [Moses] said, "Even if I brought you proof manifest?" 30 Said he, 'Bring it then, if thou art of the truthful.' 31 So Moses threw down his staff and suddenly it appeared as a serpent, plainly visible. 32 And he drew forth his hand and lo! it was white to the beholders. 33

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
