Did you not see those who dispute concerning Allah's Signs? Whence are they, then, being turned astray? 69 Those who cry lies to the Book and that wherewith We sent Our Messengers -- soon they will know! 70 When the yokes (shall be) round their necks, and the chains; they shall be dragged along- 71 Through boiling waters; then they are thrust into the Fire. 72 Then shall it be said to them: Where is that which you used to set up 73 Besides Allah? They shall say: They are gone away from us, nay, we used not to call upon anything before. Thus does Allah confound the unbelievers. 74 [The angels will say], "That was because you used to exult upon the earth without right and you used to behave insolently. 75 Enter [now] the gates of hell, therein to abide: and how vile an abode for all who are given to false pride!" 76 So be patient [Prophet], for God's promise is true: whether We show you part of what We have promised them in this life, or cause you to die first, it is to Us that they will be recalled. 77 Assuredly We have sent apostles before thee, of them are these whose story We have recounted unto thee and these whose story We have not recounted unto thee. And it was not possible for any apostle that he should bring a sign save by Allah's leave. So when the commade of Allah cometh, judgment will be given with truth, and then will lose the followers of falsehood. 78
