Al-Qamar 3 of 3
And there certainly came to the people of Pharaoh warning. 41 They, too, rejected all Our signs. So We seized them with the seizure of One Mighty, Omnipotent. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or they say, “We shall all take revenge as a group.” 44 [Yet] the hosts [of those who deny the truth] shall be routed, and they shall turn their backs [in flight]! 45 But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter. 46 Surely the guilty are in error and distress. 47 On the day when they shall be dragged upon their faces into the fire; taste the touch of hell. 48 Lo! We have created every thing by measure. 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 And verily We have destroyed your fellows; but is there any that remembereth? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 All things small or great have been written down. 53 Verily, The Muttaqun (pious), will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers (Paradise). 54 in a secure abode, in the presence of the Powerful King. 55

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
