Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists were not to be parted [from misbelief] until there came to them clear evidence - 1 An apostle from Allah, reciting pure pages, 2 Wherein are discourses eternal. 3 And those who were given the Book did not become divided except after clear evidence had come to them. 4 Yet they were ordered to worship Allah alone, making the Religion His sincerely, upright, and to establish their prayers and to pay the obligatory charity. That is indeed the Religion of Straightness. 5 Those who reject (Truth), among the People of the Book and among the Polytheists, will be in Hell-Fire, to dwell therein (for aye). They are the worst of creatures. 6 (And) lo! those who believe and do good works are the best of created beings. 7 Their recompense with their Lord shall be Gardens Everlasting, whereunder rivers flow - as abiders therein for evermore. Well-pleased will be Allah with them and well-pleased will be they with Him, that is for him who feareth his Lord. 8
