The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Woe to every backbiter, slanderer 1 who collects and hordes wealth, 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into That which Breaks to Pieces, 4 Would that you knew what hutamah is! 5 (It is) the Fire of (the Wrath of) Allah kindled (to a blaze), 6 Which rises above the hearts. 7 It will engulf them. 8 in columns outstretched. 9
