And certainly did the companions of Thamud deny the messengers. 80 We brought them Our signs, and they turned away from them. 81 And they were hewing out houses from mountains feeling secure. 82 But As-Saihah (torment - awful cry etc.) overtook them in the early morning (of the fourth day of their promised punishment days). 83 And all that they had done (for security) availed them nothing. 84 And We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between them except with truth, and the Hour is surely coming, so overlook (O Muhammad SAW), their faults with gracious forgiveness. [This was before the ordainment of Jihad holy fighting in Allah's Cause]. 85 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-creator, the All-knowing. 86 We have given you the seven oft-recited verses and the great Quran. 87 Do not stretch your eyes to that We have given pairs of them to enjoy, nor sorrow for them, and lower your wing to the believers. 88 And say thou: verily I! I am a plain warner. 89 As We have sent down on the dividers, (Quraish pagans or Jews and Christians). 90 (So also on such) as have made Qur'an into shreds (as they please). 91 by your Lord, We shall question them all 92 concerning what they have been doing. 93 So declare to them what We have enjoined, and turn away from idolaters. 94 Indeed We suffice you against these mockers. 95 even against those who set up with God another god. Certainly they will soon know! 96 Indeed, We know your chest is straitened by that they say. 97 But you should glorify your Lord with praises, and be among those who bow in submission; 98 And serve thy Lord until there come unto thee the Hour that is Certain. 99
