Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
O THOU human being! 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 On a Straight Way. 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 That you may warn a people whose ancestors had never been warned, who are therefore heedless. 6 Indeed the Word (of punishment) has proved true against most of them, so they will not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 and We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier; and We have covered them, so they do not see. 9 And it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe. 10 Thou only warnest him who follows the Remembrance and who fears the All-merciful in the Unseen; so give him the good tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 It is We who bring the dead to life and records the deeds of human beings and their consequences (of continual effects). We keep everything recorded in an illustrious Book. 12
