▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
For any who fears to stand before his Lord are two Gardens. 46 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 47 abounding in branches -- 48 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 49 In [each of] these two [gardens] two springs will flow. 50 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 51 In them (both) will be every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 53 Reclining upon thrones that are lined with brocade, with the fruit of both Gardens close enough to be picked from under. 54 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 55 In them shall be those who restrained their eyes; before them neither man nor jinni shall have touched them. 56 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 57 As though they are jacinth and coral. 58 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 59 The reward of goodness shall be nothing but goodness. 60 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 61 And besides them, there are two more Gardens. 62 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 63 The greenest of green pastures. 64 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 65 In them will be two gushing springs. 66 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 67 In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates. 68 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 69 therein maidens good and comely -- 70 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 71 Pure ones confined to the pavilions. 72 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 73 untouched before them by any man or jinn -- 74 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and fair carpets. 76 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Honor! 78

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
