▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 (And We are nigher him than you, but you do not see Us) 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 If he is a Companion of the Right 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
