We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
