And make mention (O Muhammad) of Our bondman Job, when he cried unto his Lord (saying): Lo! the devil doth afflict me with distress and torment. 41 Stamp the ground with thy foot, yonder is water to wash in, cool, and water to drink. 42 And We bestowed his household to him and one more similar to it – as a mercy from Us, and as a remembrance for the people of intellect. 43 (We said to him): 'Take a bundle of rushes and strike with it; and do not break your oath' We found him to be patient, a good worshiper and he was penitent. 44 And commemorate Our Servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, possessors of Power and Vision. 45 We gave them this pure distinction because of their continual remembrance of the Day of Judgment. 46 In Our sight they are among the chosen and excellent ones. 47 And remember Isma'il (Ishmael), Al-Yasa'a (Elisha), and Dhul-Kifl (Isaiah), all are among the best. 48 This is a Message (of admonition): and verily, for the righteous, is a beautiful Place of (Final) Return,- 49 Gardens of perpetual residence, whose doors will be opened to them. 50 Therein they will recline; therein they will call for plenteous fruit and drink. 51 ۞ and wherein there shall be with them well-matched, bashful mates. 52 This is what you are promised for the Day of Reckoning: 53 Our provision for you will never be exhausted. 54 This is so! And for the Taghun (transgressors, disobedient to Allah and His Messenger - disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, criminals, etc.), will be an evil final return (Fire), 55 they will burn, in Hell, an evil resting place -- 56 All this (is for them); so let them taste boiling water and pus, 57 and other such torments. 58 Their leaders will be told, "This band will also be thrown headlong with you into hell." Their leaders will exclaim, "May condemnation fall upon them! Let them suffer the torment of fire". 59 They say, 'No, it is you have no Welcome; you forwarded it for us; how evil a stablishment!' 60 They will say: "Our Lord! Whoever brought this upon us, add to him a double torment in the Fire!" 61 But why is it that we cannot see men whom we had considered as wicked 62 and whom we mocked? Have they been rescued or can our eyes not find them?" 63 Such, behold, will in truth be the [confusion and] mutual wrangling of the people of the fire! 64
