Therefor warn (men, O Muhammad). By the grace of Allah thou art neither soothsayer nor madman. 29 Do they say, "He is only a poet and we are waiting to see him die!?" 30 say [to them], "Wait then: I too am waiting along with you!" -- 31 Do their minds command them this [i.e. to tell a lie against you (Muhammad SAW)] or are they people exceeding the bounds (i.e. from Belief in Allah to disbelief). 32 Do they say: 'He has invented it' No, they do not believe. 33 Let them then produce a recital like unto it,- If (it be) they speak the truth! 34 Or, were they created out of nothing? Or, were they their own creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they have no firm Belief. 36 Are with them the treasures of thy Lord! or are they the dispensers? 37 Have they a stairway whereby they overhear? Then let their listener bring an authority manifest. 38 Or has He only daughters and ye have sons? 39 Or askest thou (Muhammad) a fee from them so that they are plunged in debt? 40 Or [do they think] that the hidden reality [of all that exists] is almost within their grasp, so that [in time] they can write it down? 41 Or are they planning a conspiracy? So the conspiracy will befall only upon the disbelievers. 42 Or have they a god, other than God? Glory be to God, above that which they associate! 43 And if they were to see a fragment from the sky falling, they would say, "[It is merely] clouds heaped up." 44 Therefore leave them, until they confront their day, in which they will be stunned. 45 the Day when none of their scheming will be of the least avail to them, and they will receive no succour. 46 Surely there are other torments besides this for those who are wicked, though most of them do not know. 47 So wait patiently for the Judgement of your Lord -- you are certainly under Our watchful eye. And glorify and celebrate the praises of your Lord when you rise up [from your sleep]. 48 And in the night also hallow Him, and at the setting of the stars. 49
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
