The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta, Seen, Meem. 1 THESE ARE MESSAGES of the divine writ, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth! 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 A fresh remembrance has never come to them from the Merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 they have indeed rejected the message. But the truth of what they laughed to scorn will dawn upon them before long. 6 Do they not look at the earth, how We caused a variety of fine vegetation to grow from it (in abundance)? 7 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 8 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
