۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 and you are watching at that time 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 If he is among the near 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And burning in hell. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
