The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 who created and shaped, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
