Evidence (of the truth) for them is how We revived the dead earth 33 We have laid out gardens of dates and grapes upon it, and made springs of water flow, 34 that they might eat of its fruits and their hands' labour. What, will they not be thankful? 35 Purity is to Him Who created all pairs, from what the earth grows, and of themselves, and from the things they do not know. 36 And a sign to them is the night: We draw forth from it the day, then lo! they are in the dark; 37 And the sun runneth on unto a resting-place for him. That is the measuring of the Mighty, the Wise. 38 And the moon, We have determined it in phases till it returns like an old palmbranch. 39 Neither does it lie in the sun's power to overtake the moon nor can the night outstrip the day. All glide along, each in its own orbit. 40 And [it ought to be] a sign for them that We bear their offspring [over the seas] in laden ships, 41 And We made similar vessels for them to ride. 42 And if We will, We can drown them, so there would be no help in their distress, nor would they be saved. 43 But (by) mercy from Us and for enjoyment till a time. 44 When it is said to them: 'Have fear of that which is before you and behind you in order that you find mercy' 45 Indeed, not one of your Lord's signs comes to them without their turning away from it, 46 And when it is said to them: “Spend (in the Way of Allah) out of the sustenance that Allah has provided you,” the unbelievers say to the believers: “Shall we feed him whom, Allah would have fed, had He so wished?” Say: “You are in evident error.” 47 They also say, 'When shall this promise come to pass, if you speak truly?' 48 They await only but a single Saihah (shout, etc.), which will seize them while they are disputing! 49 Then they will be unable to make a will, nor shall they return to their kinsmen. 50

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
