The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER these [messages] ranged in serried ranks, 1 and the drivers driving, 2 and by the reciters of the Reminder: 3 Verily, most surely, your God is One 4 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Lord of the Eastern regions. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 to protect them from the rebellious satan. 7 [So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side, 8 Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment, 9 And if any is able to snatch a fragment, he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 So ask them (that is, human beings): “Were they harder to create than the objects We created?” We created them from sticky clay. 11 Nay, thou marvellest; and they scoff 12 And when they are reminded, they remember not. 13 And when they behold a sign, they turn to scoffing. 14 it and say, "It is only plain magic". 15 "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we (then) verily be resurrected? 16 and perhaps also our forebears of old?" 17 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Yes, and you shall then be humiliated." 18 The Day of Judgment will come within a single roar and they will remain gazing at it. 19 They will say, "Woe to us!" (They will be told), "This is the day of receiving recompense". 20 “This is the Day of Judgement, which you used to deny!” 21
