Seest thou not those that dispute concerning the Signs of Allah? How are they turned away (from Reality)?- 69 Those who reject the Book and that with which We have sent Our Apostle; but they shall soon come to know, 70 when fetters will be placed around their necks and chains will drag them 71 boiling water, and cast into the Fire. 72 It will then be said to them: “Where are those whom you 73 "Besides Allah" They will say: "They have vanished from us: Nay, we did not invoke (worship) anything before." Thus Allah leads astray the disbelievers. 74 "That was because ye were wont to rejoice on the earth in things other than the Truth, and that ye were wont to be insolent. 75 Enter the gates of hell to abide therein, evil then is the abode of the proud. 76 So be thou patient; surely God's promise is true. Whether We show thee a part of that We promise them, or We call thee unto Us, to Us they shall be returned. 77 Before your time We sent other messengers: of them there are some whose story We have related to you, and some whose story We have not related to you. It was not [possible] for any messenger to bring a sign except by the leave of God: but when the command of God was issued, the matter was decided in truth and justice. There and then, those who stood on falsehoods perished. 78
