The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

WOE TO EVERY slanderer, back-biter, 1 [Woe unto him who amasses wealth and counts it a safeguard, 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever! 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 The fire of Allah, that is ablaze. 6 Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men). 7 closed around them 8 in extended columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
