Man is prone to say: "Shall I be raised to life after I die?" 66 Will not man remember that We created him aforetime, when he was nothing? 67 So by your Lord, We shall assemble them and the devils – all of them – and bring them around hell, fallen on their knees. 68 Then indeed We shall drag out from every sect all those who were worst in obstinate rebellion against the Most Beneficent (Allah). 69 We know best who deserve to be burnt in (the Fire). 70 Not one of you there is, but he shall go down to it; that for thy Lord is a thing decreed, determined. 71 We shall then rescue the pious – and leave the unjust in it, fallen on their knees. 72 And when Our clear revelations are recited unto them, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: Which of the two parties (yours or ours) is better in position, and more imposing as an army? 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them who were better in possessions and [outward] appearance? 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the All-merciful prolong his term for him! Till, when they see that they were threatened, whether the chastisement, or the Hour, then they shall surely know who is worse in place, and who is weaker in hosts.' 75 God gives greater guidance to those who are guided; and good deeds that endure are better with your Lord for reward, and better for consequence. 76 Hast thou seen him who disbelieveth in Our revelations and saith: Assuredly I shall be given wealth and children? 77 Has he the knowledge of the unseen or has the Beneficent God established such a binding agreement with Him? 78 Never so. We shall certainly write down what he says, and prolong the extent of his punishment. 79 We shall inherit that of which he speaks and he will come before Us alone. 80 And they have taken to them other gods apart from God, that they might be for them a might. 81 No! Those "gods" will deny their worship of them and will be against them opponents [on the Day of Judgement]. 82
