Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Indeed the tree of Zaqqum, – 43 Food of the sinner. 44 It is like pitch. It will fume in the belly 45 as boiling water bubbles. 46 Lay hold of him, and drag him unto the midst of the Flaming Fire. 47 Then pour boiling water over his head as punishment. 48 They will be told, "Suffer the torment. You had thought yourselves to be majestic and honorable. 49 This is what you used to doubt.” 50 Surely those who fear and follow the straight path will be in a place of peace and security 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, and they will face each other: 53 Even so (it will be). And We shall wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes. 54 In that [paradise] they shall [rightfully] claim all the fruits [of their past deeds,] resting in security; 55 They will never taste death therein except the first death (of this world), and He will save them from the torment of the blazing Fire, 56 as a bounty from your Lord. That will be the mighty triumph. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 Therefore wait; surely they are waiting. 59
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
