As for those who have forsaken their homes for the sake of Allah after enduring persecution, We shall certainly grant them a good abode in this world; and surely the reward of the Hereafter is much greater. If they could but know (what an excellent end awaits) 41 (They are) those who persevere in patience, and put their trust on their Lord. 42 Before you also the messengers We sent were but [mortal] men to whom We vouchsafed revelation. Ask the People of the Book, if you do not know. 43 [We sent them] with clear signs and scriptures. We have sent down the Reminder to you, to enable you to make clear to mankind what has been sent down to them, so that they may reflect upon it. 44 Do those who do evil feel secure that Allah will not make the earth to swallow them, or that the punishment will not fall upon them from where they do not know? 45 Or that He may seize them while they move here and there, for they cannot escape? 46 Or He may seize them by diminishing their portion. Yet your Lord is compassionate and kind. 47 And have they not observed that the shadows of the things Allah has created incline to the right and to the left, in prostration to Allah, and that they are servile? 48 And to Allah prostate all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, of the live moving creatures and the angels, and they are not proud [i.e. they worship their Lord (Allah) with humility]. 49 They fear their Lord above them and do that which they are commanded. ۩ 50
