And Harun (Aaron) indeed had said to them beforehand: "O my people! You are being tried in this, and verily, your Lord is (Allah) the Most Beneficent, so follow me and obey my order." 90 They replied: 'We will not stop; we will cling to it until Moses returns to us.' 91 Moses said, 'What prevented thee, Aaron, when thou sawest them in error, 92 From following me? Then have you disobeyed my order?" 93 (Aaron) replied: "O son of my mother! Seize (me) not by my beard nor by (the hair of) my head! Truly I feared lest thou shouldst say, 'Thou has caused a division among the children of Israel, and thou didst not respect my word!'" 94 Moses said, 'And thou, Samaritan, what was thy business?' 95 He said: I perceived what they perceive not, so I seized a handful from the footsteps of the messenger, and then threw it in. Thus my soul commended to me. 96 'Begone! Your lot in this life is to cry: "untouchable!' said he (Moses). 'An appointment awaits you that you cannot fail to keep. Look at your god which you clung to indeed we will burn it and scatter its ashes upon the sea' 97 Your only deity is God, there is no deity but Him. His knowledge encompasses all things." 98 Thus We relate to you the history of past events, and We have given you a reminder [the Quran] from Us. 99 Whoever disregards (the Quran) will be heavily burdened with sin on the Day of Judgment 100 which they shall bear forever. It will be a grievous burden for them on the Day of Judgement, 101 On the day when the trumpet will be sounded We will raise the criminals from their graves and their eyes will be turned blue and blind. 102 They will murmur among themselves, "You remained not but ten [days in the world]." 103 We know best what they say. The moderate ones among them will say, "You did not live on earth for more than a day." 104
