We indeed created man; and We know what his soul whispers within him, and We are nearer to him than the jugular vein. 16 and the two recording angels are recording, sitting on the right and the left: 17 whatever phrase he utters, an observer is present. 18 The palsy of death will surely come. This is what you wished to avert. 19 And the Trumpet shall be blown; that is the Day of the Threat. 20 Each soul will come with a driver and a witness. 21 Certainly you were heedless of it, but now We have removed from you your veil, so your sight today is sharp. 22 And his comrade shall say, 'This is what I have, made ready.' 23 "Cast into Hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 who is an opponent of good, a suspicious transgressor 25 Who had set up another god with God. Cast him into severe torment." 26 ۞ His accompanying devil said, “Our Lord! I did not cause him to rebel, but he himself was in extreme error.” 27 The Lord will say, "Do not argue in My presence; I had certainly sent you a warning. 28 The word will not be changed with Me, and never will I be unjust to the servants." 29
