The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Woe to the defrauders, 1 Those who, when they have to receive by measure from men, exact full measure, 2 But if they give by measure or by weight to them, they cause loss. 3 What! Do they not expect that they will be raised? 4 On a mighty Day. 5 the Day when people will stand before the Lord of the Worlds? 6 Woe to them! Let them know that the records of the sinner's deeds are in Sijin. 7 And what will make you know what the Sijjin is? 8 (It is) a marked Book. 9 Woe on that Day unto the beliers 10 Those who deny the Day of Recompense. 11 and none cries lies to it but every guilty aggressor. 12 [and so,] whenever Our messages are conveyed to them, they but say: "Fables of ancient times!" 13 Not at all – but rather their earnings have heaped rust upon their hearts. 14 Nay, but surely on that day they will be covered from (the mercy of) their Lord. 15 Then indeed, they will [enter and] burn in Hellfire. 16 Then it shall be said to them, 'This is that you cried lies to.' 17 No! Indeed, the record of the righteous is in 'illiyyun. 18 And what will make you know what the highest Iliyin is? 19 It is a Book inscribed, 20 witnessed by those brought nigh. 21 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 22 On couches, gazing, 23 You will recognise in their faces the brightness of delight. 24 They will be given a drink of pure wine, sealed, 25 its seal is musk, for this let the competitors compete; 26 and its mixture is Tasneem, 27 A spring whereof drink those nearest to Allah. 28 Indeed the guilty used to laugh at the believers. 29 And winked at one another as they passed by them; 30 and when they returned to their own people, they would speak of them jestingly; 31 and whenever they see those [who believe,] they say: "Behold, these [people] have indeed gone astray!" 32 And withal, they have no call to watch over [the beliefs of] others... 33 But today the believers are laughing at the unbelievers; 34 seated upon their couches, they are looking around. 35 Are not the disbelievers paid (fully) for what they used to do? 36

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
