Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
