Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
