And nothing prevented people from believing when the guidance came to them except that they said: What! has Allah raised up a mortal to be an apostle? 94 Say: If there were in the earth angels walking secure, We had sent down for them from heaven an angel as messenger. 95 Say: Allah suffices as a witness between me and you; surely He is Aware of His servants, Seeing. 96 And he whom Allah guideth, he is led aright; while, as for him whom He sendeth astray, for them thou wilt find no protecting friends beside Him, and We shall assemble them on the Day of Resurrection on their faces, blind, dumb and deaf; their habitation will be hell; whenever it abateth, We increase the flame for them. 97 That is their recompense because they disbelieved in Our verses and said, "When we are bones and crumbled particles, will we [truly] be resurrected [in] a new creation?" 98 ۞ Behold they not that Allah who created the heavens and the earth is Able to create their likes? And He hath appointed for them a term whereof there is no doubt; yet the wrong-doers have refused everything excepting infidelity. 99 Say: 'If you possessed the treasuries of my Lord's Mercy, you would hold them back for fear of spending and mankind is ever grudging! 100
