Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 This is indeed an utmost certainty. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
