Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of the late morning, 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan, and shelter thee? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Therefore do not treat the orphan with harshness, 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
