Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak 1 From the evil of that which He hath created, 2 From the mischief of Darkness as it overspreads; 3 From the evil of sorceresses who blow incantations on knots, 4 and from the evil of the envier when he envies." 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
