Al-Anbyaa' 4 of 7

Say: "Who could protect you, by night or by day, from the Most Gracious?" And yet, from a remembrance of their Sustainer do they stubbornly turn away! 42 Or have they gods that can guard them from Us? They have no power to aid themselves, nor can they be defended from Us. 43 We gave days of enjoyment to them and their fathers until their life became long. Are they unable to see how We come to their land and reduce its borders. Or, is it they who are the victors? 44 Say: I warn you only by revelation; and the deaf do not hear the call whenever they are warned. 45 And if a breath of thy Lord's punishment were to touch them, they assuredly would say: Alas for us! Lo! we were wrong-doers. 46 We shall fix the scales of justice on the Day of Resurrection, so that none will be wronged in the least; and even if it were equal to a mustard seed in weight We shall take it (into account). We are sufficient for computation. 47 We gave Moses and Aaron the criterion of right and wrong and a light and reminder for the righteous, 48 for those who fear their Lord without seeing Him and dread the Hour (of Reckoning). 49 This is a blessed remembrance, sent down by Us; so do you deny it? 50
