Say (O Muhammad SAW): " My Lord! If You would show me that with which they are threatened (torment), 93 My Lord, then do not place me among the wrongdoing people." 94 And We are certainly able to show thee (in fulfilment) that against which they are warned. 95 Repel evil with what is best, We are well aware of the things they say, 96 And pray: "My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the suggestions of the evil ones; 97 And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me." 98 Until, when death comes to one of them he says: 'My Lord, let me go back, 99 haply I shall do righteousness in that I forsook.' Nay, it is but a word he speaks; and there; behind them, is a barrier until the day that they shall be raised up. 100 And then no sooner the Trumpet is blown than there will remain no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask one another. 101 And they whose weight [of righteousness] is heavy in the balance - it is they, they who will have attained to a happy state; 102 And those whose scales are light are those who lose their souls, in hell abiding. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces, and therein they shall be grinning. 104 (We shall say): 'Were My verses not recited to you, and did you not belie them' 105 They shall say, 'Our Lord, our adversity prevailed over us; we were an erring people. 106 Lord, take us out of this and if we sin again, we shall certainly be unjust". 107 He will say: "Be ye driven into it (with ignominy)! And speak ye not to Me! 108 There is a party of My servants who said, "Our Lord, we believe; therefore forgive us, and have mercy on us, for Thou art the best of the merciful." 109 But you took them for a laughingstock, so much so that they made you forget My Remembrance while you used to laugh at them! 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this day forasmuch as they were steadfast in that they, even they, are the triumphant. 111 He will say: "What number of years did ye stay on earth?" 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day: but ask those who keep account." 113 He will say, “You stayed but only a little, if you knew.” 114 Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?" 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King; no god is there but He, the Lord of the honorable dominion. 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 Say, "Lord, forgive us and have mercy. You are the best of those who show mercy." 118
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
