۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 In a book that is protected 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
