Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Hast thou observed him who belieth religion? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 And does not induce others to feed the needy. 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 Who do (good) to be seen, 6 and prevent the utensils of assistance. 7
