And indeed, the Qur'an is the revelation of the Lord of the worlds. 192 With it came down the spirit of Faith and Truth- 193 Upon your heart that you may be of the warners 194 In a clear Arabic language. 195 (a revelation embodied) in the scriptures of the ancients. 196 Is not the fact (that the Israelite scholars already knew about the Quran through their Book) sufficient evidence for the pagans of the truthfulness (of the Quran)? 197 And even if We had revealed it to one among the foreigners 198 And he had recited it to them, and they had not believed (it would have been different). 199 Thus it passes through the hearts of the criminals. 200 they will not believe in it till they behold the grievous suffering 201 The torment will strike them suddenly without their knowledge. 202 and then they will say: 'Shall we be respited' 203 Do they really want Our chastisement to be expedited? 204 Then have you considered if We gave them enjoyment for years 205 And then there cometh unto them that which they had been promised. 206 It will profit them not that they enjoyed (this life)! 207 Never have We destroyed a town without sending down messengers to warn it, 208 To warn. For We are never unjust. 209 The satans did not bring down this (Clear Book), 210 They are unworthy of it, nor can they do it. 211 Lo! verily they are banished from the hearing. 212 So call not thou unto another god along with Allah, lest thou be of the doomed. 213 And warn [whomever thou canst reach, beginning with] thy kinsfolk, 214 and be kind to your believing followers. 215 So if they do not obey you, then say, “Indeed I am unconcerned with what you do.” 216 and place thy trust in the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 217 who sees you when you stand 218 and sees your movements among those who prostrate themselves: 219 He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 220 Shall I declare unto you upon whom the satans descend! 221 They descend upon every sinful liar. 222 The satans try to listen to the heavens but many of them are liars. 223 And the poets - [only] the deviators follow them; 224 Art thou not aware that they roam confusedly through all the valleys [of words and thoughts,] 225 And they speak what they do not do? 226 The righteously striving believers among them who remember God very often and use their talent to seek help after they have been wronged are the exceptional. The unjust will soon know how terrible their end will be. 227
