And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
