Hizb 46

So also was Jonah among those sent (by Us). 139 When he ran to the laden ship, 140 And lots were cast (when a storm overtook them), he was rejected, (and thrown overboard). 141 And the fish swallowed him while he was blameworthy; 142 And were he not one of those who praise. 143 he would certainly have remained inside the fish until the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ But We cast him, upon the shore, and he was ill, 145 And We caused to grow over him a tree, a gourd. 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand, rather they exceeded. 147 And they believed; so We gave them enjoyment for a while. 148 Now, ask them, has your Lord daughters, and they sons? 149 Or, did We create the angels females while they were witnessing? 150 Verily, it is of their falsehood that they (Quraish pagans) say: 151 'God has begotten?' They are truly liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What is the matter with you that you make such strange judgements? 154 Will ye not then be admonished? 155 Or have ye an authority manifest? 156 Then bring your book, if ye say sooth. 157 And they have invented a blood-relationship between Him and the Jinns: but the Jinns know (quite well) that they have indeed to appear (before his Judgment-Seat)! 158 Glorified be Allah from that which they attribute (unto Him), 159 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 160 for, verily, neither you [blasphemers] nor the objects of your worship 161 Cannot lead astray [turn away from Him (Allah) anyone of the believers], 162 unless it be such as rushes towards the blazing fire [of his own accord]! 163 And there is none of us but has an assigned place, 164 We stand in ranks (for prayer) 165 “And indeed we are those who say His purity.” 166 And surely they used to say: 167 If we had but a reminder from the men of old 168 "We would have indeed been the chosen slaves of Allah (true believers of Islamic Monotheism)!" 169 But they disbelieve in it (the Koran), but soon they shall know! 170 And assuredly Our word hath already gone forth Our bondmen, the sent ones: 171 that they shall certainly be succoured, 172 And that Our forces,- they surely must conquer. 173 Hence, turn thou aside for a while from those [who deny the truth,] 174 And wait; they will come to know soon. 175 Do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? 176 When it descends on their courtyards, how terrible that morning will be for those who were warned! 177 And turn away from them for some time. 178 And (then) see, for they too shall see. 179 Glory be to your Lord: the Lord of Glory is far above what they attribute to Him. 180 And peace be unto those sent (to warn). 181 And all praise unto Allah the Lord of the worlds. 182
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
