And the disbelievers said, “Do not listen to this Qur’an and engulf it in noise – perhaps you may be victorious this way.” 26 We will let the unbelievers taste a terrible punishment, and recompense them with the worst of what they were doing. 27 That requital of God's enemies will be the fire [of the hereafter]: in it will they have an abode of immeasurable duration as an outcome of their having knowingly rejected Our messages. 28 And the disbelievers said, “Our Lord! Show us both – among jinns and men – who misled us, for us to put them beneath our feet so that they be the lowest of the low.” 29 Verily, those who say: "Our Lord is Allah (Alone)," and then they Istaqamu, on them the angels will descend (at the time of their death) (saying): "Fear not, nor grieve! But receive the glad tidings of Paradise which you have been promised! 30 We are your friends in the present life and in the world to come; therein you shall have all that your souls desire, all that you call for, 31 "A hospitable gift from one Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful!" 32
