Indeed, the tree of zaqqum 43 shall be the food of the guilty sinners. 44 like molten lead will it boil in the belly, 45 Like the churning of boiling water. 46 "Seize him and drag him into the depths of Hell," (it will be said), 47 Then pour unto their heads the boiling water to torment them". 48 "Taste it," (they will be told). "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 This is that which you doubted' 50 But those mindful of God will be in a safe place, 51 Amid gardens and watersprings, 52 dressed in silks and brocade, set face to face. 53 Thus shall it be: and We shall espouse them to fair, wide-eyed maidens. 54 They shall call therein for every fruit in security; 55 They will not taste death therein, save the first death. God will save them from the torment of Hell 56 as an act of grace. That will be the supreme triumph. 57 And We have made (this Scripture) easy in thy language only that they may heed. 58 So wait thou [for what the future will bring]: behold, they, too, are waiting. 59
