It is He who has made the earth submissive to you. Walk about in its land and eat of His provision. To Him is the Resurrection. 15 Do you feel secure that the One in the heavens will not cause you to sink into the earth when it is violently shaking? 16 Or have ye taken security from Him Who is in the heaven that He will not let loose on you a hurricane? But ye shall know the manner of My warning. 17 And verily those before them denied, then (see) the manner of My wrath (with them)! 18 Have they not seen the birds above them spreading out their wings and closing them? Naught upholdeth them save the Beneficent. Lo! He is Seer of all things. 19 Or which army do you have that will help you against the Most Gracious? The disbelievers are in nothing except an illusion. 20 Who is there to give you food in case He withholds His bounty? Yet they persist in rebellion and aversion. 21 What, is he who walks prone upon his face better guided than he who walks upright on a straight path? 22 Say: 'It is He who produced you, and appointed for you hearing and sight and hearts; little thanks you show!' 23 Say, “It is He Who has spread you out in the earth, and towards Him you will be raised.” 24 They say: "When will this promise (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) come to pass? if you are telling the truth." 25 Say thou: the knowledge is only with Allah, and I am but a warner manifest. 26 But when they shall see it nigh, the faces of those who disbelieve shall be sorry, and it shall be said; This is that which you used to call for. 27 Say thou: bethink ye if Allah destroy me and those with me; or have mercy on us, who will protect the infidels from a torment afflictive? 28 Say, "He is the Most Merciful; we have believed in Him, and upon Him we have relied. And you will [come to] know who it is that is in clear error." 29 Say, "Have you considered if your water were to sink into the ground, who could then bring you flowing water?" 30
