The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
