In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful 1

All praise is due to God alone, the Sustainer of all the worlds, 2 The Merciful, the Compassionate 3 The Master of the Day of Recompense. 4 You alone do we worship, and You alone do we turn for help 5 Guide us (O Lord) to the path that is straight, 6 The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
